Terms of Service

TL;DR. You own every app you build with AppFlight, completely. AppFlight runs on your Mac and uses an AI tool you sign into yourself, so you need your own account with that provider and you follow their rules. AppFlight is provided as is, and you are responsible for what you build and ship.

These terms are an agreement between you and IQ Digital LLC ("AppFlight", "we", "us") covering the AppFlight desktop application and the appflight.dev website (together, the "Service"). By downloading or using AppFlight you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

1. What AppFlight is

AppFlight is a macOS application that helps you design, build, preview, and submit native iOS apps. It runs on your computer. It works by driving developer tools installed on your Mac, including Apple's Xcode toolchain and an AI coding tool of your choice.

2. You own what you build

Every app you create with AppFlight is yours. We claim no ownership of, and no license to, your prompts, your source code, your designs, your assets, or the apps you ship. You do not owe us revenue share, royalties, or attribution. Because AppFlight runs locally, we do not receive or store your code in the first place.

3. Your AI provider account

AppFlight does not include AI usage. You bring a coding tool you already have, such as Claude Code from Anthropic or Codex from OpenAI, signed in under your own account. That means:

  • You are responsible for having a valid account with that provider and for any fees they charge.
  • Your use of that tool is governed by that provider's terms and policies, and you agree to follow them.
  • We do not control, and are not responsible for, their pricing, availability, output quality, rate limits, or policy changes. If a provider changes or discontinues their tool, AppFlight's functionality may change with it.

4. Your Apple obligations

Shipping to TestFlight or the App Store requires your own Apple Developer account, and it is governed by your agreements with Apple. You are responsible for your Apple credentials, for meeting the App Store Review Guidelines, and for anything you submit. AppFlight can help prepare and upload a build, but we do not control App Review and we cannot guarantee your app will be accepted.

5. What you are responsible for

You are responsible for the apps you build and publish, including their content, their legal compliance, their privacy practices, and their safety. AI generated code can contain mistakes, bugs, and security issues. Review and test what you ship. Do not use AppFlight to build anything unlawful, infringing, malicious, or designed to harm people, and do not use it to violate anyone else's rights.

6. Your keys and credentials

When you connect a service, AppFlight stores those credentials encrypted on your Mac and uses them only to talk to that service on your behalf. Keeping your credentials safe on your own machine is your responsibility. See our Privacy Policy for what stays local.

7. Early access

AppFlight is early software. Features may change, break, or be removed, and builds may fail in ways we have not seen yet. If you are using an early access or beta version, expect rough edges and please tell us about them at [email protected].

8. Pricing and changes

If and when we charge for AppFlight, we will show the price clearly before you pay, and paid terms will apply from that point. We may change these terms as the product evolves. If we make a significant change, we will update the date above and, where it matters, tell you directly.

9. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error free, secure, or that it will produce any particular result, including that an app you build will build, run, or be approved by Apple.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IQ Digital LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, under any theory of liability, even if we have been advised of the possibility. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty US dollars. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Termination

You may stop using AppFlight at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive, including sections 2, 5, 9, 10, and 12, survive termination. Apps you already built remain yours.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the state and federal courts located in New York will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any appropriate court.
